Considering the lack of other input, I've just pushed this to master.
Uli, I'm assuming you're busy with other things and I hope I did not
break any protocol here.

I stand corrected - apparently I don't have access to the xcb group.
Upon git push seemingly everything was "received", yet nothing ended
up in the repo.

Uli, can you please push the patch?
